# Music Tracker
Classic tracker for module music (.mod, .xm, .it, .s3m), powered by OpenMPT.
## ⚠️ Wine-based
OpenMPT is a **Windows-only desktop app** — there's no native Linux build. This room app runs it via **Wine inside a KasmVNC sandbox**. It works, but:
- Audio routing through Wine → PulseAudio → KasmVNC introduces latency
- Some advanced MIDI features may not bridge through Wine
- Native Windows users should download OpenMPT from openmpt.org and run it directly — faster, lower latency
For a **Linux-native** tracker, consider [Schism Tracker](https://schismtracker.org/) (IT-tracker-only, but native).
