Documentation
# OpenStreetMap Editor
Native JOSM inside a streamed KasmVNC desktop.
## Version
The image ships JOSM's `josm-tested.jar` — the upstream-supported self-updating build (recommended over Debian's stale svn snapshot). JOSM updates itself from inside the app on next launch.
## First launch
Language picker → main window. JOSM offers to install default plugins (apache-commons, apache-http) on first run — accept. Sign in with an osm.org account under Preferences → OSM Server (required to upload changes back to OSM).
## Egress
JOSM downloads map tiles from `tile.openstreetmap.org` and changesets from `api.openstreetmap.org` on every edit session — make sure outbound HTTPS is permitted.
## Storage
Downloaded tile cache + plugin settings + saved .osm files all live under `/config`.
