Prompt Optimizer
Prompt Optimizer is a app in the osFoundry community catalog. Refine your prompts with AI — paste a draft, let the optimizer iteratively rewrite + critique it for clarity / specificity / role / output structure. Includes iterative test mode (try the original vs optimized prompt on the same input and compare outputs). Multi-LLM (OpenAI / Anthropic / Google / Mistral / Ollama / DeepSeek / Qwen / custom). # Prompt Optimizer
## Setup
1. Open the **Settings** gear (top right).
2. Add a model provider — pick OpenAI / Anthropic / Google / DeepSeek / Qwen / Ollama, paste your key.
3. Pick a default model.
## Optimize a prompt
Left pane: **Original Prompt** — paste your current draft.
Right pane: **Optimized Prompt** — click **Optimize** and the model rewrites it with clearer role assignment, output structure, and specificity. Iterate (click Optimize again) to refine further.
## A/B test
Bottom pane: **Test** — paste an input + click **Test**. Both the original and optimized prompt run side-by-side. Compare outputs to see if the optimization actually helped.
## Iterative templates
The optimizer comes with built-in optimization 'templates' you can edit (Settings → Templates) — system prompts that tell the optimizer how to rewrite (e.g. 'Make it more structured', 'Add examples', 'Tighten').
## Privacy
100% browser-side. Your prompts and API keys never leave your device except to call the LLM provider you chose. The container only serves the static SPA.
