# Status Page (Self-host)

## First-boot setup
Open the app — Statping shows its `/setup` wizard:
- Pick **SQLite** as the DB backend (default — no external DB needed).
- Fill in your status page title + description.
- Create your admin user/password.
- Click `Save & Start` — Statping creates the schema and your admin account.
## Add services to monitor
In the dashboard, click `+ Service` for each HTTP / TCP / GRPC / DNS endpoint to track. Statping pings them on schedule and graphs response times + uptime %.
