# Group Scheduling Poll
Doodle-style group scheduling polls, powered by Rallly.
## Setup
Set `SECRET_PASSWORD` (e.g. `openssl rand -hex 32`) before first start. `DATABASE_URL` and `NEXT_PUBLIC_BASE_URL` are auto-wired by the entrypoint (against the bundled Postgres 16 and the platform-provided public URL).
For real-world use, set `SMTP_*` env vars so magic-link sign-in works. **Without SMTP, magic links are printed in the container logs only**.
## First open
Click `Sign In` and enter your email — the first registered user becomes the admin.
## Storage
- Postgres data → `/persist/pgdata`
- No file uploads in core scheduling features (image avatars are optional and use S3 if configured).
## Theme / appearance
Rallly has its own light/dark toggle (top-right).
