# Self-Hosted Web Archive
A personal Wayback Machine, powered by ArchiveBox.
## Setup
On first boot, an admin account is auto-created from `ADMIN_USERNAME` and `ADMIN_PASSWORD`. Log in and paste URLs (or import bookmarks / browser history / RSS / a JSON list). Each URL is captured as: HTML, screenshot, PDF, single-file bundle, plain-text readability, yt-dlp media (where applicable).
Archives live under `/data/archive/` and the index at `/data/index.sqlite3`.
## Notes
- Chromium is baked into the image (~700 MB) for high-fidelity captures.
- `CSRF_TRUSTED_ORIGINS` is auto-set to the public URL by the entrypoint, so POSTs work behind the platform's reverse proxy.
- Volume sized for ~5–10k archived pages.
## Theme / appearance
ArchiveBox has a single light theme.
