# Family Tree / Genealogy
A multi-generation web genealogy, powered by webtrees.
## Setup
Set `WT_USER`, `WT_NAME`, `WT_EMAIL`, `WT_PASS` to skip the browser setup wizard. `BASE_URL` is auto-set to the public URL by the entrypoint. Data lives at `/var/www/webtrees/data/` (SQLite + media).
## Import existing data
Most users start by importing a GEDCOM file (the universal genealogy format) — Trees → Manage Trees → Import.
## Theme / appearance
webtrees has several built-in themes (light/dark/coffee/clouds/colors). Pick one in Control Panel → Configure → Themes.
