# Game Streaming Server
Self-hosted GeForce-Now-style game streaming, powered by Sunshine. **This app cannot run meaningfully as a room app — manifest shipped for completeness; deploy native.**
## ⚠️ Three blockers for container deployment
1. **Needs a GPU with hardware video encoder** (NVENC / AMF / QSV). Cloud containers don't expose GPUs.
2. **Needs games installed natively + display server access** — Sunshine captures the host's display, not container output.
3. **Streams over UDP** (Moonlight protocol). Container infra drops UDP.
Sunshine is **inherently a native-desktop tool** on the gaming PC you want to stream from. Install it via the osFoundry desktop client (when available with GPU passthrough) or directly on your gaming rig — there is no useful cloud-container deployment.
