# Image Generation (Classic)
Classic Stable Diffusion web UI, powered by AUTOMATIC1111.
## ⚠️ GPU strongly recommended
This cloud container ships with **CPU-only inference** by default. A single 512×512 image at 20 steps takes ~5 minutes on a modern CPU — fine for testing, impractical for production. For real use either:
- **Run locally on the osFoundry desktop client** if you have an NVIDIA / AMD / Apple Silicon GPU
- **Wire to a remote GPU** (paperspace, vast.ai, runpod) via the WebUI's API
- **Wait for cloud GPU support** in the osFoundry container runtime

## Packaging
Thin wrapper around the `universonic/stable-diffusion-webui` community image (the only well-maintained AUTOMATIC1111 Docker distribution). Models + outputs + extensions at `/data`. **100 GB volume** — SD 1.5 + SDXL + a few LoRAs eat space fast.
