# Secrets Vault
Secret storage and encryption-as-a-service, powered by OpenBao (an MPL-2.0 fork of HashiCorp Vault).

## First boot
On first start the vault is **sealed** — run `bao operator init` in the in-app terminal to generate the unseal keys + root token, then `bao operator unseal` (3 of 5 default). Save the unseal keys somewhere safe (lose them = lose data).
