# Terminal Session Recorder
Record and share terminal sessions, powered by asciinema-server.
## How it runs
The server and its database (PostgreSQL) are bundled in one self-contained image; recordings and metadata persist on `/data`. Upload casts with the `asciinema` CLI to this server (`asciinema rec → asciinema upload`). Run `asciinema auth` after the first upload to claim recordings under your account.
## Setup
Register an account on first open. Set the optional `ASCIINEMA_URL` for a custom domain — the platform injects it as `URL_HOST`/`URL_SCHEME` so canonical links and embed snippets resolve correctly.
## Theme / appearance
The asciinema player has its own theme; the site UI has a light/dark toggle.
