What is Per-seat Pricing?
Per-seat pricing charges a fixed monthly fee per user, regardless of actual usage. osFoundry deliberately doesn’t use per-seat pricing — usage-based scales fairer with team size and workload.

Per-seat is easy to forecast but punishes diverse usage patterns. A team where one user is heavy and four are light pays for five heavy users worth of capacity. Light users effectively subsidise heavy ones.
For AI tools specifically, per-seat caps team experimentation — adding a curious teammate adds a fixed monthly cost whether they use it or not.
How osFoundry approaches Per-seat Pricing
osFoundry skips per-seat entirely. Cost scales with usage; large workspaces with light usage cost less than small workspaces with heavy usage.
