What is VPC (Virtual Private Cloud)?
Abbreviation: VPC
A Virtual Private Cloud is an isolated network within a public cloud provider, giving you full control over IP ranges, routing, and access. osFoundry’s BYO-cloud option deploys into your own VPC for regulated workloads.
Detail
VPCs let large enterprises and regulated industries run cloud workloads with strong network isolation — no exposure to the public internet by default, fine-grained egress control, dedicated address space. Standard on AWS, GCP, Azure.
BYO-VPC deployment models put the data plane in the customer’s VPC while the control plane stays with the vendor. Combines vendor convenience with customer data sovereignty.
How osFoundry approaches VPC (Virtual Private Cloud)
osFoundry’s BYO-cloud is available on enterprise plans. Data plane (apps, models, storage) runs in your VPC; control plane stays managed by us.
